# Dashboards

> Understand the branch dashboard, organisation dashboard, and branch scope behavior in Bethel ChMS.

Bethel ChMS has two dashboard views:

* **Dashboard** shows one branch at a time.
* **Organisation Dashboard** shows network-wide trends across branches.

## Branch dashboard

The main **Dashboard** is branch-scoped. It shows activity for one branch, including:

* Member status counts.
* Gender demographics.
* Age group demographics.
* Nationality distribution.
* Upcoming events.
* Latest check-ins.
* A member table with filters.

Org-scoped users can use the branch selector in the page header to choose which branch to view. Branch-scoped users do not see the selector because they are locked to their assigned branch.

  The branch dashboard uses the selected branch from the `branchId` URL parameter. If an org-scoped user opens the dashboard without a valid branch selected, Bethel ChMS falls back to the organisation's first active branch.

## Branch scope across pages

For org-scoped users, Bethel ChMS carries the selected branch through branch-level pages by adding `branchId` to links in the sidebar. The selected branch is also saved in the browser so future pages open in the same branch context.

Branch-scoped users always use their assigned branch. They cannot switch to another branch.

Branch scope affects pages such as **Dashboard**, **Locations**, **Events**, **Ministries**, **Members**, **Visitors**, and **Attendance**.

## Organisation dashboard

The **Organisation Dashboard** is available to **Org Owner** and **Org Admin** users. It shows organisation-wide analytics, including:

* **Network Attendance**
* **Network Growth**
* **Branch Health**
* **Network Gender Demographics**
* **Network Age Group Demographics**
* **Nationality Distribution**
* **Branch Performance**
* **Attendance Trends**

Use the range controls to switch between **7d**, **30d**, **90d**, and **12mo**.

Branch-scoped users cannot access the **Organisation Dashboard**.

## Choose the right dashboard

| **Organisation Dashboard** | Compare branches and monitor network-wide attendance, growth, and demographics. |
