# Organisation settings

> Manage organisation details, plan usage, billing, custom fields, currency, ownership, and deletion in Bethel ChMS.

Use **Organisation Settings** to view and manage account-level settings for your church network.

  Access depends on your role. **Org Owner** can manage organisation details, currency, billing, ownership, and deletion. **Org Admin** can manage custom fields and view organisation-level settings. Other roles may see read-only settings, but they cannot change owner-only controls.

## Organisation details

The **Organisation Details** section shows:

* **Name**
* **Email**
* **Address**
* **Post Code**
* **Created At**

Only the **Org Owner** can click **Edit** and update these fields.

## Plan and usage

The **Plan & Usage** section shows your current plan and branch usage. Bethel ChMS uses branch count as the enforced usage limit.

If you reach your branch limit, you cannot create or duplicate more branches until your limit is raised.

## Billing

The **Billing** section shows your subscription status, branch count, and renewal or cancellation date.

Only the **Org Owner** can click **Manage Billing**. Other users should contact the account owner to manage billing.

## Custom fields

Use **Custom Fields** to define additional fields for **Member Fields** and **Visitor Fields**.

**Org Owner** and **Org Admin** can:

* Add custom fields.
* Edit custom field labels, required status, and single-select options.
* Reorder fields.
* Remove fields.

Removed fields are hidden from forms, but existing values are preserved. Field keys stay reserved and cannot be reused.

Each entity type supports up to 10 active custom fields.

## Currency

The **Currency** section sets the default currency for new gifting entries.

Only the **Org Owner** can change the currency. Existing gifting entries keep their original currency and are never rewritten.

Supported currencies are **GBP**, **USD**, **EUR**, **NGN**, **GHS**, **KES**, **ZAR**, **CAD**, and **AUD**.

## Transfer ownership

Only the current **Org Owner** can transfer ownership.

    Go to **Organisation Settings**.

  <Step title="Click Transfer Ownership">
    In **Ownership & Danger Zone**, click **Transfer Ownership**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the new owner">
    Select an existing **Org Admin** from **New Owner**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the transfer">
    Enter your password, complete the CAPTCHA challenge, and click **Transfer Ownership**.
  </Step>

After the transfer, you become an **Org Admin** and the selected user becomes the **Org Owner**.

<Warning>
  Ownership transfer is immediate. The new owner must transfer ownership back if you need to reverse it.
</Warning>

## Delete an organisation

Only the **Org Owner** can delete an organisation.

Deleting an organisation soft-deletes the organisation and all associated data, including branches, users, members, visitors, events, and ministries. You must type the organisation name to confirm deletion.

After deletion, Bethel ChMS signs you out and redirects you to sign up.

  Deleted organisation data can be recovered within 30 days. After the recovery period, it may be permanently removed.
